Dementia

Status: In uitvoering

Dementia can have a big impact on your life, whether you have it yourself or live with someone who does. In Aalsmeer and Kudelstaart, there is a lot of help available. You don't have to do it alone.

Someone who thinks along with you

When dementia is diagnosed in you or someone close to you, a dementia case manager can be appointed. This is a regular contact person who gives advice, thinks along with you, and helps arrange the right care. They stay involved as long as needed.

Asking for help is not a weakness—it can bring more peace and a better quality of life. Many people are in the same situation and are ready to help. Whether you have dementia yourself or take care of a partner, parent, or other family member, there are organizations that can support you.
