The municipality offers a free InBalans fall prevention course to help reduce this risk. The course helps seniors become stronger, more confident, and more stable, allowing them to stay independent and active for longer.
What does the InBalans course offer?
The course includes:
- Practical exercises to improve balance and strengthen muscles'
- Tips to make your home safer
- Regaining confidence in daily activities
The Fall Prevention Coordinator explains: "With simple home adjustments and a fitter body, you can prevent many falls." You will also learn the importance of staying active, for example, by joining activities from Stichting Sam Aalsmeer, like group cycling.
